Point-of-Care Technician (Specialty Exam)
Qualifications for this certificate are:
Current ASPT member, and;
Must be an ASPT, NCA, AMT, or ASCP Certified Phlebotomy Technician. Included are individuals licensed in nursing or clinical laboratory procedures, and;
A letter from the supervisor verifying that applicant is currently working and performing Point-of-Care and what specific CLIA Waived test does the participant perform as part of the regular duties, and length of time doing this work must accompany a membership application.
Examination Fee: $100.00 plus membership fee
